Job Description

Sets the value standard for Avanade Next. Owns the method, benchmark library, business case discipline and ROI verification model that allow Avanade Next to sell and deliver on value-based outcomes credibly.

Key Responsibilities

Value Method & Standards

  • Own the Avanade Next value methodology, including opportunity sizing, baseline assessment, benefit modelling, gate criteria and verification.
  • Maintain the APAC value benchmark library using verified client outcomes.
  • Set quality standards for value cases and benefits tracking across the portfolio.

Executive Decision Support

  • Support executives with clear analysis of opportunity size, investment required, delivery risk and return profile.
  • Provide the numbers that allow clients to make investment decisions with confidence.
  • Challenge assumptions where benefit claims are weak or unproven.

Commercial Support

  • Support value-based, outcome-based and gain-share commercial models.
  • Work with GTM, Deals and Consulting leaders to ensure commercial models are grounded in defensible value.
  • Help manage the risk of value commitments in proposal and delivery.

Track Leadership & Delivery

  • Lead the Value Architect track, including hiring, onboarding, quality and career progression.
  • Deploy personally on strategic or high-value mandates.
  • Feed verified outcomes and lessons back into propositions and industry playbooks.

KEY MEASURES

  • Value methodology adopted across Consulting and Studio engagements.
  • Business case established for all major transformation mandates.
  • Benefits tracking active across production deployments.
  • Majority of business case assumptions validated post-deployment.
  • Value Architect track operating at planned capacity and quality.

Qualifications

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 8+ years in strategy consulting, value engineering, business case development or corporate finance.
  • Strong financial modelling under uncertainty.
  • Experience with outcome-based or gain-share models from a value assurance perspective.
  • Credible with CFOs, COOs and executives.
  • Experience building a method or standard used by a team.

WAYS OF WORKING

  • Player-coach, roughly half deployed and half building the track.
  • Independent by design and expected to challenge delivery teams.
  • Part of the shared pool across both tracks.
  • Publishes verified outcomes, including those that fall short.
  • Focuses on evidence, not optimism.
