About the role
We are seeking a motivated Validation Engineer (Software) to join our Validation Team. In this role, you will support daily software validation activities to ensure product quality and reliability. You will be responsible for executing end-to-end system testing and working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of software system
- Develop test cases based on requirements and define test plans
- Support the Software Validation team with ownership of assigned tasks
- Execute testing activities and report test results accurately
- Set up test equipment in accordance with test requirements
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and make decisions based on business priorities
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and support continuous improvement of validation processes
- Work on shift schedules as required
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience in software testing or validation
- Basic programming knowledge (Python, UNIX command line, or similar) is an advantage
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and a quick learner
- Good team player with strong ownership of tasks
