Position Summary
We are seeking a Software Validation Engineer to join our team. This role will focus on accelerating the delivery and improving the quality of product by developing and executing test plans that ensure the best possible customer experience. The ideal candidate will have experience building test cases from requirements, test plans, conducting end to end tests and extensive knowledge of the development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Testing: Conduct end-to-end testing of the system at hand.
- Test Specification: Create test cases meeting the requirements and define test plans.
- Collaboration: Provide relevant support to the Software Validation team with ownership.
- Documentation: Reporting test results to relevant stakeholders.
- Test Equipment Setup: Set up and configure test equipment in accordance with test requirements.
- Problem Resolution: Display commitment to resolving problems and making decisions based upon the priority of the problem in relation to business needs.
- Shift Flexibility: Able to work in shift hours as required by operational needs.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Computer Science, or other equivalent qualifications.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience of in Software Testing.
- Experience in Programming (Python, UNIX command line, etc) is an advantage.
- Self-motivated individual who is action / resulted oriented and has attention detail.
- Individual must be a quick learner with the ability to work independently.
- Able to work as a Team and takes ownership of the task at hand
