UX Designer (4 months contract)

Responsibilities

. You will be a member of the User Experience Design team to understand our users and design meaningful digital products.

. Design is a multifaceted discipline, and hence while we value your knowledge in UI design, we value diversity of knowledge that will positively influence the UX of solutions.

Things you'll do:

. Execute research activities.

. Apply design heuristics.

. Apply information organization practices to improve access and findability.

. Design high-fidelity, intuitive and self-revealing products

. Design for multiple interfaces (mobile, desktop, conversation, voice, etc)

. Test products to make sure they are useful and usable.

. Create designs that address different use scenarios.

. Maintain the design system.

. Hand-off design artifacts to developers

. Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

. Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

Skills/Requirement

. 5 + years of IxD or UX experience

. Strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI design and UX normalities

. Good understanding of information design, information architecture and user psychology

. Proficiency in graphic design, motion graphics, digital art, a sensitivity to typography, colour, layout, and a general awareness of materials/textures

. Experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies
