Job Description
Shift Operations: Perform system walkdowns, routine inspections, and parameter checks on central utilities, including high-pressure steam boilers, air compressors, water chillers, cooling towers, air handling units (AHUs), pump, water softeners, and wastewater treatment systems.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks and rapid troubleshooting to resolve mechanical or process utility faults.
Control Room Monitoring: Utilize the plant's Distributed Control System (DCS) and Building Management System (BMS) to monitor equipment performance and keep track of process data.
CMMS & Record Keeping: Track, log, and close out maintenance work orders using the CMMs, preferably SAP or Maximo.
Safety & Compliance: Execute all operations and Lockout-Tagout (LOTO) activities in strict compliance with plant safe-work procedures, MOM boiler regulations, and company safety rules.
Job Requirements
Diploma or Higher NITEC in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
Good to have 1st or 2nd Class Steam Boiler Attendant registration with MOM.
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant hands-on experience in utility plant maintenance within pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical, or semiconductor sectors.
Ability to interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and process flow sheets. Strong, independent mechanical troubleshooting mindset.
Able to work 12-hour shifts.
Good to have certification in Apply WSH in Process Plant and/or Supervise WSH in Process Plant
Good to have experience in plant/unit commissioning
