Responsibilities
- Conduct technical feasibility studies, site investigations, and risk assessments for utility projects.
- Coordinate with government agencies and utility service providers to secure approvals and execute utility diversion works.
- Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure utility plans align with construction requirements and safety codes.
- Prepare Method Statements, Safe Work Procedures, utility drawings, and technical documentation for timely regulatory submissions.
- Assist project leadership in preparing technical reports, maintaining project budgets, and adhering to strict deadlines.
- Attend site visits, field inspections, and progress meetings to resolve on-site utility matters.
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board, eligible for Resident Engineer registration, or an equivalent accepted qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 3 years in construction supervision for projects of similar scale and complexity.
- Registered Earthwork Supervisor with EMA / SPPG.
- In-depth knowledge of local civil engineering codes, practices, and utility submission procedures.
- Strong technical report writing, site coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
