Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Monitor market prices and demand for engine parts, align stock values, and initiate corrective actions
- Develop new customer relationships and identify sales opportunities with existing customers in coordination with the sales team
- Create and manage USM engine-part sales packages, auctions, online sales activities, and related documentation
- Define and maintain pricing ranges and minimum prices in company systems
- Coordinate material flow across purchasing, logistics, and accounting to meet customer and operational requirements
- Prepare sales analyses, product strategies, market assessments, and material value analyses to support engine purchases
- Drive process improvements, forecasting, and IT solutions for USM material sales
- Recommend stock adjustments based on quality, value, price, scrap, and quantity, and support performance reviews
- Assist the engine purchase team with operational activities as required
Requirements
Ideal candidate requirements:
- University degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Economics, Sales, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in sales, customer service, contract management, and/or purchasing, preferably in the aviation MRO industry
- Excellent knowledge of the global MRO market, particularly aircraft engines
- Experience in project management, with strong analytical, conceptual, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, as well as sound judgment
- Must possess legal work permit in Singapore
- Strong intercultural competence and understanding of Asian markets and cultures
- Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain business and customer relationships
- Customer-focused, self-driven, adaptable, and able to manage complex challenges
- Excellent written and spoken English; an Asian language or German is an advantage
- Professional company representation and willingness to travel within Asia and to Germany
