Responsibilities
Team Introduction In line with the globalization strategy and vision of the company, the Global Payments team builds a platform to provide cross-border payment solutions for all ByteDance's products and services, that are growing rapidly worldwide. This role will help support and execute the global research team's quantitative research projects, as the project teams strive to deliver research initiatives for the Global Payment Team, such as user experience measurement, customer insight extraction, and product conversion analysis, etc. Responsibilities Support research team in handling quantitative data processing & intepretation: - Survey Scripting & Testing: Program survey logic into survey platforms and conduct testing to ensure seamless functionality before survey launch. - Survey Deployment Logistics: Manage distribution of survey (push out, posting), optimise survey reponses by monitoring live surveys to troubleshoot technical issues when collecting responses. - Data Cleaning & Consolidation: Clean up raw data by identifying and removing invalid responses (e.g., duplicates, speeders) and validating overall data integrity. Merge, restructure, and document datasets from multiple sources to ensure they are fully prepped for downstream analysis. - Data Visualization & Reporting: Help visualise complex statistical outputs into readable charts, dashboards, and summary reports to help research team to convey & stakeholders to easily interpret the drivers and segments.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or above in Psychology, Business, Statistics, Marketing Research, Human Computer Interaction, Mathematics or other related fields - 2+ years experience in quantitative research/analysis, consulting, or market research - Experience with survey management, including setting up complex survey scripting logic, survey posting, data cleaning, etc. - Highly process-driven with a strong willingness to execute routine operational workflows with meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment and take the initiative to independently solve problems and learn new skills - Excellent written and spoken communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills - Flexibility to collaborate with global teams, including meetings before 10am or after 7pm that involves team members of overlapping time zones Preferred Qualifications - Proven track record of being detailed oriented and able to proficiently set up, run and handle quantitative data sets with 1 or 2 basic statistical tools (SPSS, SQL, Python, R) for segmentation analysis, drivers analysis, correlation analysis, etc. Important Note: Please be advised that this job posting is on behalf of a third-party agency.
