Job Description

Company Description StrongKeep is a cybersecurity company focused on making digital protection simple and affordable for organizations without dedicated IT teams. The company serves small and medium-sized businesses by delivering essential security and compliance solutions without unnecessary complexity. StrongKeep emphasizes clear, jargon-free communication so clients can understand and trust the protection they receive. By removing confusing tools and technical barriers, StrongKeep enables businesses to focus on their core operations while maintaining peace of mind about their cybersecurity. The team values practicality, clarity, and user-centered solutions in all aspects of its work. We're also a really fun place to work. For real.

Role Description The User Experience Design Intern will support the design and improvement of StrongKeep's digital products and customer-facing interfaces. This internship role is on-site in Singapore, where the intern will collaborate closely with a more senior UX designer, a product manager, and engineers to understand user needs and translate them into intuitive, accessible experiences. Day-to-day tasks include conducting or assisting with user research, creating wireframes and interactive prototypes, documenting user flows, and contributing to usability testing. The intern will help refine information architecture, iterate on design feedback, and ensure that cybersecurity tools remain easy to understand and use. This position offers hands-on experience with real products in a fast-paced environment focused on clear, user-centered security solutions.

Qualifications

  • Ability to create user flows, wireframes, and prototypes using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, or AI-assisted tools like Lovable, Bolt, Claude, ChatGPT, etc).
  • Foundational knowledge of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and information architecture.
  • Comfort with basic user research activities, such as interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and synthesizing findings into design insights.
  • Strong visual design sense, including layout, typography, and color usage that supports clarity and accessibility.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for presenting design decisions and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work on-site in Singapore, manage multiple tasks, and incorporate feedback in an iterative design process.
  • Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or training program in UX design, HCI, interaction design, graphic design, or a related field.
  • Interest in helping people feel secure online against digital risks; prior exposure to SaaS or B2B products is a plus.
