What You'll Do
- Develop and manage production schedules based on customer demand, machine capacity, and material availability
- Coordinate closely with procurement to ensure timely supply of raw materials and precision components
- Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) and adjust plans to meet tight delivery timelines
- Work closely with machining, assembly, and QA teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Optimize utilization of machines, manpower, and resources in a high-mix, low-volume environment
- Expedite and prioritize work orders, including urgent and high-value customer requirements
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, delays, and shopfloor disruptions
- Ensure proper routing, documentation, and traceability for aerospace and semiconductor parts
- Track production performance and ensure alignment with quality and delivery targets
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for planning and reporting
- Support demand forecasting and capacity planning in collaboration with sales and operations
- Coordinate inbound materials and outbound shipments with logistics teams
- Participate in cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
- Support continuous improvement and digitalization initiatives in planning
What We're Looking For
- Diploma in Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
- Min 2 years of experience in production planning within precision machining / manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and planning skills
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Exposure to aerospace or semiconductor manufacturing requirements is an advantage
- Able to work independently and collaborate closely with shopfloor teams
