Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle, including workforce planning, job postings, candidate screening, interviews, offers, and hiring.
- Coordinate onboarding and orientation to ensure new employees integrate smoothly.
- Develop, communicate, and enforce fair HR policies and procedures.
- Advise employees and managers on workplace concerns, HR practices, and disciplinary matters.
- Administer performance-management activities, including goal setting, appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
- Support compensation, payroll, benefits, leave, and employee-welfare programs.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and leadership-development initiatives.
- Handle employee grievances, investigations, conflict resolution, and exit procedures professionally.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HR information system.
- Monitor compliance with employment laws, workplace regulations, and internal policies.
- Plan employee-engagement, recognition, diversity, and retention initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and analyze workforce data, including turnover, absenteeism, hiring, and performance trends.
- Collaborate with department leaders to anticipate staffing needs and align HR programs with business objectives.
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, productive, and positive workplace culture.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years in HR generalist function
- Sound knowledge of employment legislation, HR policies, and industry practices.
- Experience with HR information systems, applicant-tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Professional HR certification is advantageous
