Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve faults in industrial generators, marine engines, electrical systems, and equipment.
- Assist with installation after repair/overhaul, support commissioning to ensure proper operation, and conduct product testing.
- Provide performance feedback on engines/generators, plus technical reports covering fault findings, causes, prevention, and rectification.
- Suggest alternative solutions and provide costing for materials/services beyond contract scope.
- Share market feedback, complaints, and customer expectations with the Parts & Service Manager.
- Work closely with service engineers to coordinate and schedule service activities.
- Perform regular servicing and maintenance on contracted power solutions.
- Submit timely service reports after each servicing assignment.
Requirements:
- Minimum NITEC in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least 2 - 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Logical approach to diagnosing faults and identifying root causes.
- Good MS Office skills.
