Responsibilities:
- Support the Design Manager in overseeing the design team.
- Lead, mentor, and provide training to junior engineers.
- Understand, interpret, and manage client requirements effectively.
- Coordinate with external stakeholders to prepare technical proposals for projects.
- Ensure all designs adhere to regulations, engineering codes, standards, and best practices.
- Review and monitor design deliverables to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues arising from incidents.
- Review project closure reports with internal stakeholders and recommend improvements to mitigate future risks.
- Develop Design & Build solutions, including ground improvement methods where applicable.
- Provide technical marketing support to present solutions to clients and consultants.
- Conduct regular site visits to train, guide, and gain buy-in from site personnel, while promoting quality and good practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering, recognized by PEB.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Plaxis 2D, and Plaxis 3D.
- Engage actively in engineering societies and contribute technical papers at conferences.
- Participate in global expert groups to share knowledge and expertise.
