Urban Planner / Architect AI Product

UNLOCKLAND is a Singapore-based AI technology company building an AI operating system for real estate development and urban planning.

Our platform helps real estate professionals use AI to analyse land, planning regulations, site constraints, development potential, project feasibility and development options.

We are part of the Harvard Innovation Labs ecosystem, with several key enterprise customers internationally. As we expand our product and operations from Singapore, we are looking for someone who can bring deep Built Environment knowledge directly into our AI product development process.

The Role

We're looking for an Urban Planner or Architect who is highly hands-on with AI and excited about building the future of real estate technology.

This is not a traditional architecture or planning role.

You'll work directly with our product and engineering teams to turn real-world architecture, urban planning and development workflows into AI-powered products.

We're especially interested in people who already use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Lovable, Replit or other AI coding/product tools to build prototypes, automate workflows or experiment with new ideas.

You don't need to be a professional software engineer — but you should be someone who enjoys building things with AI.

What You'll Do

* Help design and improve AI workflows for site analysis, urban planning, development feasibility and early-stage design

* Turn real architecture and planning workflows into product features

* Review planning regulations, zoning, development controls, site constraints and building requirements

* Test AI-generated development analysis and identify where the product needs improvement

* Work directly with product designers and AI engineers to improve the user experience

* Use AI and vibe coding tools to rapidly prototype new features, workflows and internal tools

* Build simple prototypes yourself instead of relying on engineers for every idea

* Experiment with LLMs, AI agents and new AI tools for architecture and urban development

* Test the platform against real development sites and professional workflows

* Participate in selected enterprise POCs and translate customer problems into product improvements

* Help define what the next generation of AI-native real estate development software should look like

What We're Looking For

* Degree in Architecture, Urban Planning, Urban Design or a related Built Environment field

* Ideally 2–6 years of professional experience

* Strong understanding of planning, architecture or real estate development workflows

* Experience with master planning, feasibility studies, concept design or early-stage development is a strong advantage

* Strong interest in AI and emerging technology

* Hands-on experience using modern AI tools

* Experience with vibe coding, rapid prototyping or AI-assisted development is highly preferred

* Comfortable experimenting and building without detailed instructions

* Able to communicate domain knowledge clearly to product and engineering teams

* Singapore planning / Built Environment experience is a strong advantage

AI / Technical Experience We'd Love to See

You don't need a Computer Science degree.

But we'd love to meet candidates who have experimented with things like:

* ChatGPT / Claude / Gemini

* Cursor / Claude Code / Codex

* Lovable / Replit / Bolt or similar tools

* AI agents and workflow automation

* APIs and structured data

* GIS / geospatial tools

* Parametric or computational design

* Simple web apps or internal tools

* AI-generated architecture / planning workflows

Who This Role Is For

This role is particularly suited to an architect or planner who feels that traditional workflows are too manual and wants to build the tools that replace them.

You might currently be working in an architecture, planning, engineering or real estate organisation — but spend your evenings experimenting with AI, building prototypes or automating parts of your work.

You don't just want to use AI.

You want to build products with it.
