About the Project

Executing the deployment and configuration in multiple platforms using cloud technologies

Responsibilities

. Install, configure, and maintain Unix/Linux servers (RHEL).

. Manage, provision and support VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts and vCenter.

. Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

. Implement and maintain system security, patching, and compliance in line with CIS benchmarks.

. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues, including application-to-database connectivity problems.

. File system and storage management, Manage disk partitioning and logical volume management (LVM), including resizing and splitting mount points.

. Automate routine tasks using shell scripting (Bash, Perl, Python) or configuration management tools.

. Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for Unix and VMware systems.

. Collaborate with application teams to support deployments, upgrades, and system migrations.

. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

. Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.

Skills/Requirement

. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

. 5+ years of hands-on experience in Unix/Linux system administration.

. 3+ years of hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.

. Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, etc.).

. Experience with storage systems (SAN/NAS) and backup solutions.

. Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
