Render assistance to the Section Head, Credit Documentation and Agency to manage day-to-day business operations in Loan Documentation & Agency Services to ensure accuracy, efficiency and meets the agreed turnaround time with the Business Units.
Support business in generation of fee income via agency roles, such as the Facility Agent, the Security Agent, the Account Bank etc.
Review of draft / executed financing documents such as facility agreements, letters of offer & security documents, validate draft facility and security documents against approvals, post acceptance documentation checks, preparation of instructions to lawyers / valuers / insurers and etc.
Perform checks to ensure legal and security documentation are completed, conditions precedent is fulfilled prior to activation of credit facilities, monitoring of conditions subsequent and ensure that the legal and security documents are being custodized.
Establish good working relationship with the Product Managers and Relationship Managers in the Business Units so that to help them achieve the sales targets and launch new products.
Lead, train and supervise junior Documentation officers to meet department organizational goals.
Identify operational risks and implement measures/controls to plug the risk gaps so that processes are in line with the with all internal & external policies/guidelines and requirements of the regulators.
Initiate and support the effort to improve productivity, efficiency and lower costs via continuous process improvements, and streamlining of internal work processes to improve turnaround time and ensure controls are in place to mitigate the risk areas.
Participate in projects to design and administer workflow and system processes and procedures to ensure accurate and timely processing and improve the turnaround time.
Assist the Section Head to develop and maintain procedures and manuals for Credit Documentation and Agency Services.
Required Skills
Diploma/ Degree in Banking and Finance or related discipline.
Candidates with minimum 8 years of Corporate / Commercial Banking documentation experience with exposure to agency roles in a financial institution preferred.
Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.

Meticulous, organized and a team player.
Ability to deliver results/meet deadlines under pressure.
Has prior experience being a Team Lead i.e. managing a team of Documentation Officers.
Prior experience participating/managing system projects and participate in User Acceptance Test (UAT).
