Job Description

Role:

  • Manage, administer, and support Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM 14/15) in a high-availability environment
  • Perform CUCM upgrades and patching with minimal or zero downtime
  • Maintain CUCM clusters including backup, restore, certificate management, and health monitoring
  • Configure device pools, regions, locations, and LDAP synchronization
  • Design and implement SIP trunks, PRI circuits, and Cisco CUBE gateway integrations
  • Configure dial-peers, translation rules, route patterns, and call routing logic
  • Implement outbound-only PRI links without impacting production systems
  • Manage MGCP, SIP, and analog gateways including VG224Support BT trading voice systems including turret platforms (IPTrade)
  • Perform upgrades, failover configuration, and troubleshoot trading voice environments
  • Administer Cisco UCCE 12.5 including agent creation, skill groups, team profiles, and Finesse/CAD configuration
  • Develop and maintain ICM scripts for call routing
  • Manage call flows and configurations in SAMWIN contact center
  • Work with Cisco routers, switches, and gateways for voice/data integration
  • Manage authentication systems using Cisco ISE (RADIUS/TACACS)
  • Develop and execute automation scripts (Python) for bulk configurations
  • Optimize call routing and system performance across UC environments

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Unified communications engineering.
  • Experience in working in a banking or financial services industry is required.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer science or similar relevant education background
  • Experience with Python scripting is required.
  • Experience in performing advanced troubleshooting using tools such as debug ccapi, ISDN Q931, Wireshark, and RTMT
  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco CUCM (v11.5 to 15.x)
  • Expertise in SIP, PRI, CUBE, MGCP, and VoIP protocols
  • Experience with Cisco UCCE/UCCX and contact center technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in voice and network environments
  • Experience in banking or trading voice systems is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools such as RTMT, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows servers for UC backend support
  • Experience with Oracle SBC
  • Exposure to Verba recording systems
  • Knowledge of SAMWIN contact center platform
  • Familiarity with BT trading voice systems and turret platforms
