Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse user experience requirements, empathising with user needs, motivations, and emotions to create meaningful solutions.
- Facilitate user research sessions and apply UX research methodologies suited to each project.
- Translate insights from interviews, surveys, and field studies into actionable design decisions.
- Communicate design concepts clearly, presenting ideas to stakeholders and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Apply design thinking and problem-solving to resolve UX challenges, such as responsiveness and accessibility.
- Iterate on layouts based on feedback, producing wireframes, prototypes, and flow diagrams to illustrate functionality.
- Contribute to design systems, maintaining consistency with reusable UI elements and scalable design standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong knowledge of user-centred design principles.
- Proficiency in design software, wireframing, and research tools (e.g., Figma).
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX design skills, including wireframing and prototyping.
- Visual design expertise (typography, colour theory, layout).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Relevant qualification in UI/UX, graphic/web design, or related field preferred.
