UI/UX Designer

We are looking for a talented and creative UI/UX Designer to join our product engineering team in Singapore. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience and visual identity of our new SaaS platform. The ideal candidate has a strong user-centric mindset, a keen eye for detail, and a modern design workflow that heavily utilizes Figma alongside emerging AI technologies to accelerate ideation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

User-Centered Design & Prototyping

• Translate complex product requirements into intuitive user journeys, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.
• Design clean, engaging, and highly functional user interfaces tailored for web-based SaaS applications.
• Conduct basic user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.

Design Systems & Consistency

• Help build, grow, and maintain a comprehensive design system and component library in Figma to ensure visual consistency across the entire platform.
• Ensure all designs adhere to modern accessibility standards and responsive design principles.

AI-Enhanced Workflow

• Actively incorporate AI design and productivity tools (e.g., Midjourney, Galileo AI, Relume, ChatGPT) into your daily workflow to speed up wireframing, generate visual assets, and iterate on concepts.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in AI-assisted UI/UX design.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with product managers to understand user needs and business goals.
• Collaborate directly with software engineers (frontend and backend) to ensure smooth design handoffs, providing clear documentation and support during implementation.

Requirements
- 2 to 4 years of proven experience in UI/UX design, ideally with a background in designing web applications, dashboards, or SaaS products.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing your design process, problem-solving skills, and successful product launches.
- Technical Skills:

• High proficiency in Figma (mastery of auto-layout, components, variables, and advanced prototyping).
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools for design generations, copywriting, or ideation to enhance productivity.
• Solid understanding of responsive web design and how designs translate to HTML/CSS.

- A collaborative, open-minded approach to receiving feedbacks and iterating on designs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly present design rationales to stakeholders.
