We are looking for a Digital UI/UX Designer to illustrate engaging creative graphics and understand Fintech market design trends.
Your designs should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. To be successful in this role, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we'd like to meet you.
Ultimately, you'll create both functional and appealing graphics that address our clients needs and help us grow our customer base.
Responsibilities
- Develop graphics, illustrations, logos and user interface elements using AdobeCreative Suite
- Understand requirements, client pain points, based on each partner, and team mission
- Design low-fi, high-fi wireframes, suggesting copywriting (if applicable)
- Assist in refining and enhancing user journey, and user experience
- Plan, perform necessary user testing where applicable
- Articulate design concepts, and required interaction with stakeholders
- Ensure the consistency, and usability, for applicable devices, and systems., i.e., iOS and android
- Build libraries and frameworks that support complex mobile applications, speed development efficiency up, and improve code quality
- Stay up to date with new industry trends in mobile application
- Ability to clearly communicate research and design ideas to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
Requirements
- 3+ years of start-up, agency, studio, or in-house experience. Working in financial services or fintech industry is a plus but not a must.
- Solid understanding of current UI design practices to create an efficient & seamless user experience, and a passion for user interface design and understanding of UX processes.
- Understand the make-up of a full design system so these practices can ensure a product scales effectively, with design and development completely aligned.
- Proven work experience as a Digital UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Experience troubleshooting, prototyping, gathering requirements, and supporting mobile app development/implementation process as part of a team.
- Working familiarity and understanding of the back end and regulation in banking is a plus
- Experience in refining, copywriting is a plus.
- Posses a good portfolio that demonstrates your illustrations or other graphics
- Able to showcase a minimum of three diverse use cases as part of the interview process - prefer online portfolio in the resume itself for shortlisting purposes.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- A keen eye for aesthetics and details
- Experience in using design and prototyping tools such as Sketch and XD
- Team spirit strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
- Able to work in fast pace environment, methodically and meet deadlines
