- Monday to Thursday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
- Friday: 8:30am - 5:30pm
Salary ranges from $3,100 - $3,300 per month - Commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience
We are seeking a Community Management Executive to support community outreach initiatives focused on emergency preparedness. This role involves managing the myResponder app and engaging stakeholders to equip members of the public with emergency preparedness skills.
The position includes overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the myResponder app, maintaining partnerships with community stakeholders, and supporting outreach strategies aimed at building a resilient community.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with stakeholders to augment community outreach efforts for emergency preparedness awareness and grow the Community First Responder network
- Assist in managing the national AED registry and Save-A-Life Initiative to equip and empower the community with CPR-AED skills
- Provide staffing and secretariat support for the National Community Emergency & Resilience workgroup
- Planning and execution of community engagement events such as the AED on Buses Programme launch and Responders, Partners & Volunteers Appreciation Dinner
- Support maintenance and troubleshooting of the myResponder App with vendor coordination
- Assist in myResponder app enhancements (user requirements, feature updates, testing) as well as updating in-app content (e-learning materials, news articles)
- Drafting submissions/reports related to community outreach initiatives and the Community First Responder registry
- Administrative support such as replying to public enquiries/feedback
Requirements
- At least a Degree in Communications, Social Sciences, or a related field
- Comfortable working with data and digital systems
- Strong administrative, organisational and coordination skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage concurrent deadlines
- Experience in project coordination or systems support will be advantageous
