Job Summary:
Reporting to the Partnership Operations Team Lead, this role conducts and documents all testing activities including user story review, test planning, execution, documentation, defect tracking, issue resolution, and live verification.
Responsibilities:
- Review user stories and test plans to verify business requirements and scenarios are fully addressed for system enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new product launches and enhancements aligned with business and operational needs
- Support product and distribution system enhancements as applicable
- Log defects and issues, track progress, and facilitate timely resolution
- Conduct live verification and post-implementation checks to ensure system functionality
- Complete and close testing activities within project deadlines
- Maintain accurate documentation and filing of testing artifacts and project documents for audit and record-keeping
- Participate in UAT process improvement initiatives and support workflow and business process reviews
Preferred competencies and qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree from a recognized University
- 1 to 3 years experience in the life insurance industry
- 2 to 4 years experience performing UAT and writing or reviewing test documentation product UAT experience is a bonus
- Strong MS Excel skills including pivot tables and common functions
- Project management and business analysis skills to support testing and process improvements
- Effective communication skills to engage stakeholders and document findings
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
