A leading infrastructure and engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a Senior Tunnel Engineer to support the delivery of a major MRT development. Your new role

• You'll oversee tunnelling work, ensuring alignment with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
• You'll coordinate with consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth execution of underground construction activities.
• You'll monitor progress, conduct inspections, and manage documentation related to tunnel excavation, support systems, and instrumentation.
• You'll provide engineering input during the planning, construction, and handover phases, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.

What you'll need to succeed

• You will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline, with at least 8 years of experience in tunnelling or underground MRT projects.
• You'll be familiar with tunnel boring machine (TBM) operations, ground improvement techniques, and geotechnical monitoring.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of LTA standards and local construction regulations.
