You need to demonstrate a high standard of nursing care in the Diagnostic Radiology department, supporting a wide range of diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. You will perform clinical nursing procedures, monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, provide patients with appropriate pre ‑ and post ‑ procedural education, and assist radiologists during specialised diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Nursing / Degree in Nursing
- State Registered Nurse
- Strong interest in procedural, acute, and diagnostic care settings
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast ‑ paced, high ‑ dependency clinical environment
- Willing and able to perform on ‑ call duties, including after ‑ hours and weekends
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills
- Highly motivated, proactive, and patient ‑ focused
- Committed to safety, quality care, infection control, and professional nursing excellence
- Adaptable and resilient in high ‑ pressure clinical situations
- Relevant experience in Operating Theatre / Endoscopy / Intensive Care / Interventional or Diagnostic Radiology settings will be a value add
