Job Description

Job Summary

The Trust Administrator reports to the VP, Trust Services, and will be required to assist in trust administration duties associated with trust clients of the trust company.

Job Accountabilities

  • Assisting and supporting the Trust Administration team administering the day-to-day activities of trust accounts, and ensuring that fiduciary standards and controls are complied with.
  • Learn and participate in processes for client transactions including tax payments, capital calls, payment of trust expenses and other transactions as requested.
  • Assist with requests for discretionary distributions and trust terminations.
  • Ensure filing and retention of communications and documentation in the internal filing system.
  • Communicate with Managers and support staff of the Trust Company regarding client relationships, trust administration activities, projects and business operations.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, practices and maintain the highest levels of professionalism and integrity.
  • Collection of documents for bank account opening.
  • Assist to prepare proposals as well as research for SOW write-ups for approval of new clients.
  • Preparation of marketing materials and coordination of marketing events such as the Singapore Trust Association and STEP conferences etc.
  • Providing support with the planning and execution of new ideas to meet perceived market needs.
  • Preparing tailored presentations and proposals as necessary to achieve the business development goals and key client service requirements.
  • Assist in data entry in Navision for all relevant information relating to prospects and new trust structures.
  • Assisting with any other duties as assigned by management.

Know-How/Competency Requirement

  • Good attention to detail with the ability to work independently.
  • Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
