Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 4 Truck Driver to join our growing team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class 4 driving license, a strong safety record, and a commitment to delivering goods efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Follow all Singapore traffic laws and company safety regulations to ensure safe driving
- Maintain a clean driving record by avoiding accidents and near-misses
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to confirm safety and operational status
- Report mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly to prevent delays or accidents
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate delivery operations
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete delivery tasks on schedule
- Handle loading and unloading tasks safely, demonstrating physical fitness and care
Required competencies and certifications
- Valid Class 4 driving license in Singapore
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving Class 4 trucks in Singapore
- Clean driving record with no major violations
- Ability to read and understand English
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness to perform loading and unloading duties
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience handling specific cargo types such as construction materials, food products, or dry goods
- Knowledge of Singapore roads and routes to optimize delivery efficiency
- Forklift operator certification (added advantage)
