Role Overview
We are looking for a reliable and responsible Truck Driver to join our fleet. The role involves the safe carrying and delivery of dangerous goods cargo to client sites, working closely with an onboard attendant, and maintaining accurate ad-hoc reporting throughout each trip.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely carry and deliver dangerous goods (Class 3, 5.1, 8, 9) to designated client locations within agreed timeframes
- Work together with an assigned attendant to carry out loading, unloading, and in-transit safety checks
- Complete ad-hoc reporting as required — trip logs, incident reports, delivery confirmations, and any other documentation requested by operations
- Conduct pre-departure and post-delivery vehicle and cargo checks in line with ADR requirements
- Ensure consignment notes, SDS, and placarding are correctly carried and displayed for each load
- Follow all segregation, handling, and emergency response procedures
- Communicate promptly with dispatch/operations on delivery status, delays, or issues
What We're Looking For
- Valid driving licence with relevant ADR/HAZMAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proven experience as a truck driver, ideally with dangerous goods or bulk liquid cargo
- A true team player who works well with an attendant and supports colleagues on the road
- Responsible, safety-first mindset — someone who takes ownership of cargo, documentation, and vehicle condition
- Comfortable with variable, ad-hoc reporting demands on top of standard trip paperwork
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when representing the company at client sites
