Job Description

Company Description

Straitsberg is a Singapore-headquartered treasury advisory and solutions firm, trusted by multinational finance leaders to optimize liquidity, navigate complex financial challenges, and enhance cross-border performance. We collaborate with treasury and finance teams across industries and geographies, providing impactful advice and hands-on execution for banking structure, cash visibility, cost optimization, and strategic initiatives. What sets us apart is our commitment to empowering clients through knowledge sharing, capability building, and driving sustainable transformation. Together with CFOs, Treasurers, and their teams, we aim to deliver practical and measurable results. Located in Singapore, we are on a mission to redefine global treasury.

Role Description

Straitsberg is hiring a Treasury Strategy & Technology Analyst to work in the Founder's Office, supporting the Founder across all active priorities - client engagements, strategic initiatives, research, and operational execution.

This is a chief-of-staffstyle role, tailored for a high-potential, early-career candidate. You will not be limited to a single function. Instead, you will be exposed to everything the Founder is engaged in, gaining a holistic understanding of corporate treasury, treasury technology, fintech, and how a specialist advisory business is built and run.

This is a 3-4 month contract role based in Singapore and is ideal for candidates seeking broad responsibility, steep learning, and direct access to decision-making early in their careers.

What makes this role different

  • Direct, day-to-day collaboration with the Founder
  • Visibility into all strategic, commercial, and client-facing activities
  • Exposure to both treasury advisory and treasury technology / fintech use cases
  • Hands-on contribution to analysis, coordination, problem-solving, and execution
  • A rare opportunity to operate at the centre of a founder-led business

Core responsibilities

Act as a trusted execution partner to the Founder across multiple workstreams.

Track priorities, prepare briefing materials, and follow up on action items across client, research, and strategic initiatives.

Structure information, summarise discussions, and translate ideas into clear next steps.

Coordinate work across advisory, technology, and operational topics as required.

Prepare analyses, models, and client-ready presentations and briefs.

Attend client meetings (virtual and occasional in-person) and contribute where appropriate.

Document treasury operating models and identify improvement opportunities.

Assist with analysis and evaluation of treasury technology platforms, fintech solutions, and digital banking capabilities used by multinational corporates.

Support work related to payment architectures, bank connectivity, messaging standards, and data flows.

Participate in exploratory initiatives involving automation, analytics, and AI applied to treasury processes.

Conduct structured research on treasury best practices, fintech trends, and market developments.

Produce concise internal notes that inform strategy and client recommendations.

Maintain trackers, working documents, and knowledge repositories to ensure momentum across initiatives.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the contract, you will have:

A practical, real-world understanding of how multinational corporate treasuries operate

Exposure to treasury technology, fintech platforms, and digital banking ecosystems

Experience operating in a Founder's Office

Client-facing experience and professional exposure beyond a typical entry-level role

Insight into how a specialist advisory firm is built and scaled
