Salling Search is currently assisting a Global Leader in the shipping industry in the search for a Treasury Operations Executive based in Singapore. This role reports to the Treasury Manager / Finance Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Bank Account Opening, KYC & Sanctions Compliance
- Manage bank account openings, amendments, and closures across group entities.
- Prepare, submit, and track KYC / AML documentation, including periodic refreshes.
- Liaise with banks on sanctions screening and compliance issues, including payment holds, sanctions hits, or requests for supporting transaction details.
- Coordinate responses internally with Finance, AP, Legal, or Commercial teams.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for sanctions-related queries and resolutions.
Kyriba Implementation & System Operations
- Serve as an operational key user during Kyriba implementation: support bank connectivity, account configuration, payment format validation, and screening data checks.
- Participate in UAT, parallel runs, and cut-over activities.
- Manage post go-live Kyriba operations: payment processing, user access maintenance, and issue tracking with IT and Kyriba support.
Cash Monitoring & Daily Treasury Operations
- Monitor daily cash balances and cash movements across bank accounts.
- Investigate delayed, rejected, or blocked transactions.
- Prepare daily or weekly cash position summaries and execute intercompany transfers as instructed.
Payments Processing & Exception Handling
- Prepare and release payments via Kyriba following approved controls.
- Track payment status and resolve rejections, sanctions blocks, or missing regulatory information.
- Collaborate with AP and Finance teams to correct and resubmit payment data.
Controls, Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to authorization matrices and segregation of duties.
- Maintain operational logs for bank accounts, KYC, sanctions queries, and payment exceptions.
- Support internal and external audits with relevant treasury and sanctions documentation.
Coordination & Support
- Act as a working-level contact for relationship banks, Kyriba support, and internal Finance, AP, IT, and Legal teams.
- Support treasury operational clean-ups and standardization initiatives.
Requirements
- 4-8 years in treasury operations or cash management.
- Hands-on experience with Kyriba implementation and day-to-day treasury operations.
- Practical knowledge of bank account opening, KYC, sanctions, and payment screening.
- Detail-oriented, methodical, and high integrity.
- Calm and clear communicator, comfortable with repetitive operational follow-ups.
