The Opportunity

  • Adecco is partnering with a leading multinational heavy equipment manufacturing company with a strong international presence. We are seeking an experienced Treasury professional to join its regional finance team based in Singapore.
  • Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for directing and managing treasury activities, supporting regional financing requirements and providing treasury insights to management and overseas entities.

The Job

  • Oversee day-to-day cash management and treasury operations, including cash flow positioning, loan drawdowns, movement of funds, wire transfers, daily cash settlements and reconciliation of cash balances.
  • Manage and coordinate group financing activities, including credit facilities from intercompany sources and banks, while supporting overseas entities with their funding requirements.
  • Review, analyse and forecast cash collections and disbursements and coordinate month-end treasury reporting and cash forecasting.
  • Develop recommendations on cash management, borrowing strategies, working capital and cost of funding.
  • Execute and analyse foreign exchange hedging strategies in line with risk management policies to manage FX exposure.
  • Evaluate funding structures and cost of capital and provide recommendations on suitable banking products and financial solutions.
  • Prepare monthly financial and market outlook reports covering interest rate and FX trends to support funding, hedging and capital planning decisions.
  • Support M&A and restructuring activities from a funding and treasury perspective, including ad-hoc analysis to quantify financial risks.
  • Support the development and implementation of global cash management policies and procedures, and identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, reporting and automation.
  • Manage banking relationships, including bank services and fees, account openings and closures, authorised signatories and the maintenance of bank account records.
  • Drive treasury system improvements and enhancements to strengthen reporting, automation and operational efficiency.

The Talent

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant treasury experience, preferably gained in a regional or global treasury environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong knowledge of financial and accounting concepts, with sound analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Hands-on experience in foreign currency exposure analysis and FX hedging strategies is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel overseas when required.
