A company in the banking industry is hiring for a Treasury Dealer position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic financial markets team, where you will play a key role in driving trading performance, managing market positions, and supporting the development of treasury products within a fast-paced environment.
Job Description
- Execute trading activities across FX, interest rate derivatives, commodities, money market instruments, and fixed income products
- Manage net open positions for FX and derivatives within authorized limits, with a focus on generating profitability
- Provide competitive market pricing to internal stakeholders and ensure timely position management
- Collaborate with corporate and private banking teams to develop and enhance financial market products for clients
- Build and maintain relationships with financial institution counterparties to strengthen trading capabilities
- Support the development of treasury-related policies, system enhancements, and process improvements
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and execution of treasury functions
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant field
- At least 3 years of experience in treasury dealing, including FX derivatives, interest rate derivatives, money market, or fixed income
- Familiarity with financial market systems such as Refinitiv, Bloomberg, or Murex
- Strong network of financial institution counterparties, with the ability to expand relationships
- Self-driven with the ability to contribute to product development and process improvements
- Completion of Financial Markets Regulatory & Practices (FMRP) certification
- Completion of CM-EIP or equivalent qualifications meeting exemption requirements
- RES Modules 12B or 1A and 2B are advantageous
- FX Market Training Certificate from CFETS is preferred
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to support communication with a wide range of stakeholders
