Job Summary
This role is responsible for travel retail & wholesale business for SE Asia, Korea, and Taiwan pertaining to sales development, sales plan implementation, sales budget preparation, business development, retail merchandising, client management. The role will also support our customers by rendering wide range of sales support, including marketing, promotion, training, etc.
Role & Responsibilities
Sales and Products Management
- Manage the travel retail & wholesale businesses (mainly Franchises) and drive existing customer accounts develop and implement sales plans & budgets to achieve target OTB prepare and follow up with contract renewal contribute to strategic planning to drive business performance
- Prepare open-to-buy budget (OTB) substantiated by analysis and forecast monitor and personally drive sales orders during sales campaigns share product features/knowledge and facilitate order taking process from clients ensure minimum order quantity is met
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance of clients prepare regular sales reports to management
- Support key partners in improving their sell out performances through implementation of Retail Excellence practices
- Ensure alignment of corporate directions and distribution expansion strategies (product mix and launch, architectural concept, marketing, pricing, mark down, seasonal end sales) to deliver effective proposition
Business Development
- Anticipate market and client trends, proactively designing value-added solutions
- Conduct negotiations, securing agreements that balance profitability and client satisfaction
- Manage complex deal structures, ensuring clarity, compliance, and long-term sustainability
- Contribute to establish business development plans identify potential clients prepare analysis on new store development and present to management
- Coordinate contract preparation for new store openings with management liaise with corporate and local supporting departments (Visual Merchandising and Project)on store design and renovation monitor and evaluate sales performance of new stores/business
- Identify strategic partnerships that benefit brand and business growth, exploring and developing new business opportunities to expand distribution network
Performance Management & Insights
- Monitor account performance with precision to ensure revenue, margin, and growth objectives are achieved
- Leverage data and analytics to identify opportunities, optimize pricing, and anticipate risks
- Share insights with cross-functional teams to refine product, distribution, and marketing strategies
Retail Excellence and Market Information
- Partner closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Retail to ensure flawless client execution, and to ensure global coherence in product assortment across all categories
- Act as the voice of the client within the Maison, advocating for client needs without compromising brand equity
- Collaborate on Asia Pacific retail prices guidelines: suggested prices/ control of mark-up & regional prices consistency, seasonal collections training documents & presentations to selected accounts
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and develop team(s), drive performance, capability building, and a culture of collaboration
- Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans
Others
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in wholesale (Franchisees and Department Stores) /travel retail preferably in Fashion industry
- Retail experience is a plus
- A degree holder in Business Administration or the related is preferred
- Firm understanding of fashion market and good product knowledge
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Strong business partnering and stakeholder management capabilities, with the ability to influence external and internal stakeholders and support decision-making
- Fluent English
- Frequent travel may be required
