MAIN PURPOSE
The Visual Merchandising Senior Executive plays a vital role in creating and executing the standard visual merchandising guidelines to enhance the aesthetic appeal whilst ensuring consistency for counter displays, planograms for new/existing counter openings and promotions across Travel Retail Asia Pacific (TRA) for NARS and Fragrances.
Reporting to the Visual Merchandising Assistant Manager, you will be assigned to manage a portfolio of brands (NARS and Fragrances). You will be responsible for ensuring that seasonal updates for the assigned brands are implemented promptly.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities include:
- Develop VM guidelines in alignment with the brand, specifically for new launch/conceptualization, POSM research, quality control, and implementation plans.
- Assist with forecast of VM display tools for seasonal launches and counter openings.
- Collaborate with the Retail Design team to adapt planograms, animations, outposts, and seasonal launches guidelines specific to TRA region.
- Work with the Project Management team for new counter openings, renovations and ordering of VM counter tools.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial teams to understand market needs to maximize products exposure and optimize sales potential.
- Coordinate and manage counter maintenance and changeover installations.
- Manage and liaise with vendors to ensure that POSMs are produced qualitatively and delivered within the stipulated timeline.
- Develop and strengthen the vendor's ability to meet the Brands standards and expectations.
- Ensure that the visual merchandising guidelines are consistent with the brand's aesthetics and are relevant to the region.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in Industrial Design, Visual Merchandising, or Graphic Design.
- At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar design environment and demonstrated the ability to manage VM projects independently and proven experience in managing business stakeholders.
- Proficient in Sketchup, Adobe illustrator, Photoshop
- Good sense of design and possess an eye for detail.
- Demonstrate agility and proven experience in operating effectively under tight timelines.
- Ability to multi-task and have experience in liaising with diverse stakeholders.
- Travelling is required (approximately 10-15%)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
