MAIN PURPOSE

As a Brand Assistant Manager for IPSA and The Ginza, you will support global brand objectives while adapting them for Travel Retail markets needs, through strategic planning and seamless coordination between HQ (Brand Holders) and regional marketing teams. You will play an integral role in driving brand objectives and Travel Retail Exclusive (TREX) product developments across different Travel Retail markets.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Brand Strategy Development

Provide support to the Brand Manager in:

  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies and action plans to achieve qualitative and quantitative objectives.
  • Conceptualizing for O2O consumer engagement activations, liaising with agencies and consequently regional marketing teams for successful implementation

Brand Holder Contact and Regional Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholder relationships within the organization, both local and overseas.
  • Provide full support to regional marketing teams on visual assets and promotion guidelines.
  • Adapting and implementing of brand strategies
  • Tracking and monitoring of budget with Brand Holder and regions
  • Coordinate with Brand Holders for TR-related developments (TR exclusives, 360 activation campaigns, brand expansion drive, and distribution plans)

New Product Launch

  • Together with Brand Manager, manage launch planning & calendar for TR (and visibility of local markets) including but not limited to:
  • Forecast planning and supply
  • Pricing strategy
  • GTM strategy and toolkit; taglines, production of launch communication or promotion collaterals
  • TR Post launch performance tracking and analysis
  • Gap analysis and action plan proposal for any delays, cancellations or lack of assets to deliver robust annual launch plan to meet topline targets.

Marketing Assets Management

  • Manage communication assets from BH to markets.
  • Work on instore merchandising visual calendar.
  • Provide assets for marketing execution or seek approval from BH on adapted assets for collaterals and other marketing tools as required.

TREX Management

  • Under the directions and guidance of the Brand Manager, assist in the development of TR-exclusive concepts.
  • Consolidate marketing intelligence and regional needs to better facilitate HQ briefing on the line-up.
  • Liaise and arbitrate with HQ and the regions on the proposed line-up.
  • Develop TREX assets (digital content, KOL campaigns, and celebrity visuals) and launch guidelines for the TREX collection (POSM, activations, digital, etc.)
  • Manage TREX performance and KPI

Pricing

  • Manage pricing of catalogue in annual pricing review.
  • Maintain brand pricing guidelines aligned with BH.
  • Review annual competitor pricing landscape and recommend refinement as required.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monthly analysis of franchise, market performance identify any gaps in YTG plans.
  • Quarterly Review brand performance on Beaute Research and identify opportunities for growth.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or equivalent.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience and prior experience in the FMCG or beauty industry will have an advantage.
  • Good sense of marketing and commercial awareness.
  • Demonstrate understanding/experience in forecasting and category management.
  • Analytical mindset and experience in business analysis.
  • Good ability to manage complexity in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Strong team spirit, sense of collaboration, flexibility, and positive energy.
  • Organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills especially Excel and PowerPoint.
