Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Travel Consultant to provide a smooth travel experience for our corporate Client. You will be part of a team of Travel Consultants dedicated on-site at Hillview (Cashew MRT) to service our Client.
Responsibilities
- Handle business travel requests, including air, hotel, car and rail. Flight bookings will range from simple point-to-point to complex multi-cities.
- Ensure that reservations are aligned with the Client's travel policy and be proactive in optimising the Client's travel spend.
- Provide insightful travel advisory.
- Handle any amendments, cancellations, schedule changes and disruptions, communicating the implication of each change to the Client in a professional manner.
- Generate invoices and ensure accurate billing.
- Deliver excellent customer service and build rapport with the Client.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Possess knowledge of fares and ticketing. Able to analyse fares and routing alternatives to present the best options to the Client.
- Experience making flight reservations using a GDS.
- Knowledge of other travel products including hotels, car transfer and rail would be a bonus.
- Good geographical and fare knowledge.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
- Meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive team player with good communications skills.
