Our client is a well-established MNC within the logistics and supply chain sector, specializing in end-to-end transportation and distribution solutions across the region. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Transport Supervisor / Senior Supervisor (Haulage) to support their growing operations team. They are located in the (West) - easily accessible.
Working hours: Monday to Friday - 4am - 1.30pm | Sat 4am - 10am
(purely WFH)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily transport operations, ensuring smooth execution of haulage activities and alignment with operational targets
- Develop and optimize delivery schedules and routing plans to maximize fleet utilization and meet service commitments
- Manage deployment of drivers and vehicles, including monitoring movement through transport systems and maintaining accurate records
- Review operational workflows to identify inefficiencies, implement improvements, and drive cost optimization initiatives
- Monitor transportation expenses and maintain cost control measures within approved budgets
- Ensure fleet readiness through proper maintenance planning, minimizing downtime and operational disruptions
- Coordinate with external transport partners to ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations
- Maintain compliance with local regulatory requirements and transport authority guidelines
- Conduct periodic operational and safety checks, ensuring adherence to workplace safety standards
- Support coordination with internal departments and external stakeholders on transport-related matters
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline
- At least 3 years of experience in transport, haulage, or fleet operations
- Knowledge of local transport regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in transport planning systems and fleet coordination
