Job Scope - Transport Planner / Traffic Controller Assistant

EBS Logistics is seeking a staff member to assist our Traffic Controller in managing daily transport operations. The role includes:

Customer Coordination Liaise with freight forwarders (our customers) to confirm transport job details, timelines, and special handling instructions.

Fleet & Driver Management Support the Traffic Controller in overseeing the fleet and driver assignments. Ensure drivers are briefed, scheduled efficiently, and equipped for each job.

Job Assignment & Dispatching Arrange and assign transport jobs to drivers based on delivery schedules, vehicle availability, and customer requirements.

Operational Support Monitor job progress, respond to on-the-ground issues, and coordinate with warehouse or customs teams as needed.

Documentation & Updates Assist in maintaining transport records, updating job sheets, and ensuring compliance with internal SOPs and customer expectations.
