Planning & Scheduling: Develop daily transport schedules, allocate drivers/vehicles, and plan optimal routes considering traffic, timelines, and resources.
Operations Monitoring: Track shipments in real-time, monitor progress, and ensure timely pickup/delivery to avoid demurrage/storage.
Coordination: Communicate with drivers, internal teams (warehousing, finance), and external stakeholders (clients, regulatory bodies).
Compliance & Safety: Enforce transport regulations, company policies, safety standards, and handle incident reporting.
Documentation & Data: Process transport orders, verify documentation (PODs), capture data in TMS, and manage records.
Incident Reporting: Create Incident reports in the event of an event and to implement corrective measures accordingly.
Problem Solving: Manage delays, resolve logistical challenges, handle customer inquiries, and investigate discrepancies.
Performance: Maintain KPIs Delivery Crew Efficiency, report on performance, and to suggest improvements.
