Translator (Tech industry) Up to 5K CSY

Job Summary

To assist the research consultants on the creation and translation of deliverables such as documents, newsletters, technology research, reports and presentations for Chinese clients.

Essential Responsibilities

• Gain a deep understanding of the technology industry for each client project
• Engage with the clients to develop the research requirements for each client project
• Translate technology reports extracted by the research consultants from Chinese to English
• Translate information provided by the clients from Chinese to English
• Develop presentation and communication materials alongside the research consultant
• Translate research reports, newsletters and other deliverables created by the technology research team from English to Chinese
• Work with management to engage with clients
• Communicate smoothly with various internal and external parties.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in translation, language studies, Science or Engineering.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in translation work, preferably in the technology or financial sector
• Must be able to translate between written and spoken Mandarin and English as individual will communicate and work closely with companies in China
• Experience in presentation or report creation would be an advantage
