Bluente is an AI-powered document translation platform, translating files in 120+ languages while keeping the format the same.
We're looking for people who are enthusiastic about our product but also fast and independent learners. As a translation/ localization intern at an early-stage company, you'll be an essential part of the team who is involved in the linguistic aspects for our clients.

Role
- Translation & Localization: Translate and localize content across various domains such as legal, healthcare, and business, ensuring cultural accuracy and linguistic precision.
- Quality Assurance: Review and edit translations for consistency and compliance with client standards.
- Technology Integration: Collaborate with our AI-powered platform team to refine translation workflows and enhance machine translation output.
- Content Creation: Assist in creating localized marketing content to engage global audiences.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct cultural and linguistic research to support localization efforts in different regions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with linguists, developers, and project managers on exciting multilingual projects.
Requirements
- Language Skills: Fluency in at least two languages (one must be English); additional languages are a bonus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong proofreading and editing skills with a keen eye for nuances in language and tone.
- Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of localization and the ability to adapt content to fit regional preferences.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with translation tools (CAT tools, TM databases) and interest in AI/ML in translation.
- Education: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
- Enthusiasm: Passion for languages, technology, and learning about new cultures.
- Strong management and communication skills
- Displays intellectual curiosity and the ability to handle ambiguity
- Ability to convey information clearly and analyze customer requirements as needed to help customer make buying decisions
- Highly energetic, positive attitude with the ability to take initiative
