Overall Job Responsibility
The Strategy and Planning Division's primary role is to:
- Support SG Enable (SGE) management to shape, develop and implement the strategy for SGE and the disability sector to deliver greater value to clients and service users, in line with the Enabling Masterplan.
- Build the disability ecosystem through thought leadership moves including data driven and evidence-based research and through a strong understanding of the international landscape for disability services and support.
- Enable a strong corporate governance culture in SGE through managing organisation performance and supporting Board to perform fiduciary duties effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support SGE's senior management to develop and manage the execution of SGE's 5 Year Enterprise Plan which includes the transformation agenda and other innovation-as-usual initiatives
- Work with business units to monitor and review performance of key transformation initiatives, and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Conduct data driven analyses of the disability sector and organisational needs to identify new directions or initiatives required to achieve goals under the Enabling Masterplan 2030. This will be done with SGE Business Units, as well as internal partners including HR, ICT and Corporate Services to drive organisational excellence for SGE
- Work with HR and OD to develop and implement a change management strategy to support whole-of-organisation buy-in for strategic priorities and facilitate business units to develop, translate and implement transformation initiatives
- Identify future trends within the sector and conduct scans and research to support policy and planning, and to identify emergent needs and gaps
- Interface with and partner MSF and other government agencies on the development of disability sector strategies and policy reviews
- Any other duties in support of the Division's work, as assigned
The jobholder will need to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders to drive transformation efforts, and provide regular updates to management on progress, needs and opportunities.
Qualifications, Knowledge And Experience
- Good degree in any discipline
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in relevant roles, including in transformation, policy making, implementation and reviews, strategy planning
- Experience in social or healthcare sector will be an advantage
- Strong command of the English language; able to write, present and communicate well
- Strong team player and able to work independently
- Self-driven, resourceful and able to multi-task
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Ability to perform data analytics a plus
