Job Description

As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality transfer pricing services to a diverse portfolio of clients, primarily multinational groups and regional entities. You will support clients in meeting regulatory requirements while advising on cross-border intercompany transactions, ensuring alignment with OECD and IRAS guidelines.

You are expected to stay current with evolving transfer pricing regulations and market practices, contributing to both compliance and advisory engagements.

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the preparation of Transfer Pricing Documentation (Local File, Master File) in accordance with IRAS and OECD guidelines
  • Perform functional, asset, and risk analysis (FAR) for intercompany transactions
  • Conduct benchmarking and economic analyses to support arm's length pricing using relevant databases
  • Advise clients on transfer pricing policies, intercompany pricing models, and cross-border transactions
  • Ensure clients compliance with tax regulations and timely fulfillment of corporate and individual tax statutory filing obligations
  • Collaborate with internal tax teams on corporate tax and cross-border tax matters, where relevant
  • Identify opportunities to improve client structures, pricing strategies, and compliance efficiency
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality advisory and documentation work
  • Undertake ad-hoc assignments and support departmental initiatives to strengthen overall team performance

Requirements

  • Strong Transfer Pricing (TP) expertise, including practical experience in TP documentation, advisory, and cross-border tax matters
  • Exposure to Corporate Income Tax matters would be advantageous
  • Possess an accounting/tax degree or professional accounting/tax qualification recognized by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants or Singapore Institute of Accredited Tax Professionals
  • More than 5 years of relevant working experience in the area of transfer pricing
  • Solid technical knowledge of tax legislation and practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly motivated, able to show initiative, and confident
