Key Responsibilities of Transactional Risk Underwriter, Global Insurer
- Underwrite transactional risk policies, primarily Warranty & Indemnity (W&I) and contingent risk coverage.
- Review and analyse transaction documents (SPAs, due diligence reports) to identify and evaluate risk.
- Collaborate with brokers, law firms, and corporate clients to design tailored coverage solutions.
- Negotiate terms and pricing to ensure profitability and compliance with underwriting guidelines.
- Stay ahead of market trends and contribute to product development initiatives.
Requirements of Transactional Risk Underwriter, Global Insurer
- Background in M&A law or corporate transactions (law firm or Big 4 experience highly valued).
- Strong understanding of deal structures, legal documentation, and risk allocation.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
