Training Officer/ Senior Training Officer, Day Activity Centre

As a Training Officer at our Day Activity Centre, you will play a meaningful role in empowering persons with special needs to live with confidence, and independence. You'll work closely with clients, families, and a supportive team to help individuals achieve their social, emotional and vocational goals.

• Location: Near Macpherson MRT

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm/ 8:30am to 5pm

• Commitment: 2 years contract (Renewable)

Key Responsibilities

• Train and assist clients in community living skills, social and emotional wellbeing, physical maintenance, and vocational activities

• Develop and implement intervention plans, providing basic counselling to clients and caregivers when needed

• To focus on the safety, wellbeing, and daily care of clients

• Plan, implement, and monitor clients training and safety procedures

• Be involved in conducting bi-annual evaluations for clients

• Facilitate small group activities and track clients progress through proper documentation and statistics

• Work collaboratively with team members to deliver quality and consistent care
