Job Summary
Lead and manage adult educators to deliver high-quality training in Food Services, Digital Skills, and Corporate/Soft Skills. Drive curriculum development, ensure compliance with WSQ standards, and contribute as a Subject Matter Expert to shape impactful adult learning programmes.
Responsibilities
Training Management
- Lead and manage a team of full-time and associate adult educators across multiple domains to ensure effective training delivery.
- Plan and conduct Train-the-Trainer (TTT) sessions to standardize instructional methods and improve educator performance.
- Coach and mentor educators to implement best practices in adult learning and instructional delivery for enhanced learner outcomes.
- Monitor training sessions to maintain quality standards and maximize learner engagement.
Curriculum & Quality Assurance
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Food Services, Digital Skills, or Corporate Training to guide curriculum relevance and accuracy.
- Contribute to the design, development, and periodic review of curricula to align with WSQ standards, industry trends, and adult learning principles.
- Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Curriculum teams to implement processes that ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
Training Delivery
- Deliver selected training programmes within your expertise, such as WSQ Food Safety, Digital Literacy, Soft Skills, or Leadership courses.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars tailored to diverse adult learners, supporting workforce upskilling and reskilling initiatives.
Operational & Strategic Support
- Support programme planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to optimize training operations.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluation of trainers to build a competent educator team.
- Contribute to grant applications, training tenders, and partnership development to support organisational growth.
Required competencies and certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, ICT, Education, Business, or related discipline.
- ACTA / ACLP certification.
- Minimum 5 years of adult education experience, including managing trainers or teams.
- Experience with WSQ and SkillsFuture training frameworks.
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- DACE or relevant curriculum development qualification.
- Industry experience in Food Services / F&B (preferred).
- Strong background in Digital Skills / ICT or Corporate / Soft Skills / Leadership Training.
