Job Description

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Training Manager to support the development and performance of our sales force within a fast-paced financial services environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating impactful sales training programs that enhance product knowledge, sales capabilities, communication standards, and regulatory compliance awareness. Excellent command of both English and Chinese is required to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Job Description:

  • Analyze organizational and departmental training needs to identify competency gaps and performance improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and execute the overall training and development strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Design, develop, and deliver training programs covering:

1. Wealth management products and services

2. Investment and financial planning concepts

3. Sales and relationship management skills

4. Regulatory and compliance standards

5. Leadership and soft skills development

  • Create and maintain training materials, including presentations, manuals, handouts, e-learning modules, assessments, and training guides.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, performance metrics, and post-training analysis to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead initiatives that support culture-building, employee engagement, recognition programs, and overall employee experience, including townhalls, festive celebrations, and internal engagement campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with department heads and business leaders to ensure training initiatives align with organizational goals and workforce needs.
  • Engage and coordinate with external training providers and industry professionals when required.
  • Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, regulatory developments, and evolving best practices within the financial services and wealth management industry.
  • Ensure all training activities comply with internal policies, regulatory standards, and applicable industry requirements.

Qualification and requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in learning & development, sales training, or capability development within financial services, preferably in wealth management, banking, insurance, or asset management.
  • Strong understanding of wealth management business models, financial advisory processes, and client relationship frameworks.
  • Excellent command of both English and Chinese is required to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and digital learning tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong presentation, coaching, and people development capabilities.
  • Possess own transport and must be willing to travel.
