Job Summary

The Training Centre Executive manages daily operations of the Bendemeer training facility, ensuring classroom readiness, course administration, trainer coordination, and facilities management while serving as the central contact for training operations, customer service, finance, and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Open and close the training centre daily following operating hours to ensure smooth facility access
  • Set up classrooms before each session by checking equipment, arranging seating, and preparing materials to ensure readiness
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to resolve air conditioning, electrical, and building maintenance issues promptly
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to place and maintain promotional displays across classrooms
  • Print and prepare course notes and materials for all scheduled classes to support training delivery
  • Manage e-attendance recording for each class and maintain accurate attendance records for compliance
  • Coordinate with Customer Service Officer to collect ICs, permit copies, and finalize attendance records
  • Organize and prepare all necessary documentation for each training session to ensure smooth operations
  • Monitor trainer attendance, confirm timely presence in class, and manage check-in/check-out records
  • Escalate trainer attendance issues to management as needed to maintain training quality
  • Submit daily and periodic operational reports to the Training Centre Manager for review
  • Maintain records in compliance with SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and internal audit requirements
  • Support additional administrative tasks or projects as assigned by management to contribute to centre efficiency

Required competencies and certifications

  • Able to work on Sundays as part of the regular work schedule

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Minimum GCE O Level education
  • Diploma in business administration, operations management, or related field is an advantage
  • At least 1 year of experience in training administration, operations, or customer service roles
  • Prior experience with SkillsFuture or WSQ-regulated training environments is an advantage
  • Working knowledge of e-attendance systems and training administration processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Workspace
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for effective coordination with trainers, learners, and internal teams
