Job Summary
We are seeking a Trainer to design and deliver effective training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance. The Trainer will be responsible for conducting engaging learning sessions, developing training materials, and ensuring participants are able to apply what they learn in their roles.
Responsibilities
- Deliver instructor-led training sessions both in-person and virtually to enhance participant skills and knowledge application
- Facilitate workshops, group discussions, and practical exercises to promote active learning and engagement
- Adapt training methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and experience levels to maximize learning outcomes
- Clearly communicate training objectives and ensure achievement through effective session delivery
- Develop and maintain comprehensive training materials including presentations, handouts, exercises, and assessments tailored to organizational or client needs
- Customize training content to address specific business requirements and improve relevance and impact
- Review training programs regularly based on participant feedback and outcome evaluations to enhance effectiveness
- Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure participant understanding and training impact
- Gather and analyze feedback to recommend actionable improvements for future training sessions
- Collaborate with managers, HR, and clients to identify training needs and align programs with organizational goals
- Provide post-training support and clarification to reinforce learning and application
- Maintain professional relationships with stakeholders and learners to ensure ongoing engagement and support
- Track attendance, participation, and completion records accurately to monitor training progress
- Prepare training reports and documentation to communicate outcomes and support continuous improvement
- Manage training schedules and logistics to ensure smooth and timely delivery of programs
Required competencies and certifications
- ACTA certified
- Institute of Adult Learning certified
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma, Degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Background in training, facilitation, or adult education
- Confidence and approachability to foster a positive learning environment
- Adaptability to manage various training scenarios effectively
