Job Description

Position Summary

Assist in and contribute to the origination and execution of project finance transactions (arranging & advisory) in the Energy & Infrastructure Group covering Asia region.

The position is based in Singapore and will be supporting transactions across Asia.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assist in the origination and execution of project finance and related transactions in the key sectors of Power & Utilities, Infrastructure and Resources & Industries (including greenfield developments, refinancing and acquisitions).
  • Support senior team members to execute all aspects of said transactions, through credit process, financial modelling, due diligence, loan documentation.
  • Contribute to the preparation of proposals and presentations for existing or prospective clients.
  • Assist the Portfolio Manager in preparing waiver requests, credit reviews and monitoring reports.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties that may be assigned by manager

Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities

  • Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal Compliance requirements, including, but not limited to, the Singapore Compliance manual and Compliance policies and procedures as issued from time to time; Financial Security requirements, including, but not limited to, the prevention of Financial Crime and Fraud including reporting obligations to the Money Laundering Reporting Officer/Compliance Officer.
  • Maintain appropriate knowledge to ensure to be fully qualified to undertake the role. Complete all mandatory training as required to attain and maintain competence.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or relevant discipline
  • Applicants should have less than 2 years of full-time working experience
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to details, with an aptitude for numerical work
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent financial modelling skills, using Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Team-oriented, proactive and motivated to learn
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Knowledge of project finance, energy or infrastructure sectors is a plus
