Main Responsibilities:
Credit risk analysis:
- Review and analyze transaction requests (new deals, renewals, amendments) from business lines and prepare timely, wellreasoned credit analysis and recommendations in line with internal risk frameworks.
- Perform financial, business, and risk analysis, including assessment and validation of internal credit ratings and risk drivers.
- Present and clearly justify credit conclusions to senior management and credit committees, responding to challenges and followup questions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal credit risk methodologies, tools, and analytical templates through feedback and enhancement proposals
Research
- Produce regular and adhoc sector and thematic research with a focus on credit fundamentals, risk trends, and potential impact on the portfolio.
- Monitor macroeconomic, industry, and issuerspecific developments and highlight emerging risks and early warning signals relevant to covered exposures
Credit data management:
- Produce, monitor, and maintain Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to support portfolio risk oversight and management reporting.
- Analyze KRI trends, investigate anomalies or limit breaches, and escalate material risk concerns to senior team members as appropriate.
- Support periodic portfolio reviews and internal risk reporting by providing accurate, timely, and wellstructured data analysis
Required Skills:
- Strong tertiary education with solid academic grounding in finance, accounting, or a related discipline; sound understanding of financial statements and credit fundamentals highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand instructions, apply judgment, and execute accurately and efficiently.
- Wellorganized and methodical, with the ability to multitask and set priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with data, automation, or AIenabled tools viewed as an advantage.
